The smallest field of the season fronted up for the Corrective Chiropractic 10 km handicap at Queenscliff on a very trying Sunday morning. The hail ceased but there was no sign of the fierce wind abating as the 59 starters lined up. It was regular placegetter, Ivan Graljuk, who broke through for his maiden victory, passing Michele Paull with 50 metres to go with Michael Morton 25 metres back in third place. Second year runner Graljuk has shown a liking for the more difficult courses on the calendar. Katie Eisenhauer and Alex Romaniw were easily the fastest of their gender. Thanks to the marshals who endured the unpleasant conditions without complaint.
