The Injury Clinic 12.6k metre Handicap

The most favourable conditions ever experienced at Wurdiboluc greeted the field of 61 who ventured there for the running of the Injury Clinic 12.6 km handicap on Sunday. Of even greater significance was the welcome upgrading of the usually muddy track up to the dam wall.

The Injury Clinic 12.6k metre Handicap winner Susan Andrews

Susan Andrews made the most of the calm weather to race away to win by over a minute from Glenn Wrest who overtook Peter Fuller in the last hundred metres. It was Andrews’ second handicap win, having scored also at the Grammar School in 2017.

Louise Brennan was fastest female from Andrews with Pat Hagan again being the fastest male by a huge margin. Club stalwart, Jeanette Austin, was congratulated on reaching her 200 run milestone.
