The field of 65 that turned out for the running of the Corrective Chiropractic Bellarine 7 km handicap at Drysdale on Sunday were treated to another great morning for racing. The undulating grass course favours strong runners and this season was no exception.
Backmarker Liam Drady raced through the field to win by 70 metres from Luke Haines with Rachael Thompson 40 metres astern. Drady is a third year member who won the club championship in his first season and is leading that competition again this year.
Invitation runner Jack Ellis was the fastest on the day whilst Thompson was the fastest female. Linda Solly was congratulated on reaching her 100 run milestone.
