As a club member, you’ll become eligible for placings and prize money after running six races as a member. You can become a club member at any time, you don’t need to have run with us before.
Fees
Fees to run as a club members are:
- annual membership (fees in table below, paid by selecting button above. Fees are reduced for registrations from 1st July.)
- timing chip purchase (also paid above, $15 just once and keep the chip from year to year), and
- weekly race fees (standard $10 per race; students/pensioners $8 per race) – see below.
How to pay weekly race fees
The race fee can be paid up to 20 minutes before the scheduled race start time (usually 9 am). You can pay race fees online, or by card in-person at the van at the race.
Alternatively, you can prepay race fees when you pay your annual membership. This works out to be a discount if you run 18 or more races for the season.

Registration fees are non-refundable.
The Geelong Cross Country Club also puts on the Geelong Half Marathon (in autumn) and Dawnbuster (on 31st Dec). Prepaid race fees do not include entry fees for these events.
Students and pensioners may be required to show their student or benefits card.
