Active Feet 6 000 metre Handicap

A perfect morning for running saw a bumper field of 125 turn out for the Active Feet 6km handicap at South Barwon Reserve on Sunday. The new course which included some grassy sections was lauded by all. A big shout out to Michael and Alister for ensuring no-one became lost.

Fifteen year member, Rob Solly hung on to win by 10 metres from the fast finishing Adam Ryan with Stephen Beaulac 50 metres back in third. It was Solly’s third club win and his first since success at Drysdale in 2016.

Invitation runner, Gergina Mervin was the fastest female with under 20 invite, Angus Macafee the fastest male. Sharon Pedersen and Daryl Hurst were each congratulated on reaching their 200 and 100 run milestones respectively
