Geelong Cross Country Club - Point Lonsdale Health and Wellness 10km Handicap Results 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏼
@pointlonsdalehealth

It was a calm morning as the field of 81 turned out for the running of the Point Lonsdale Health and Wellness 10 km handicap at Point Lonsdale.

The course wound through the dunes and included a section on the beach. As the race progressed, a moderate breeze eventuated but much of the course was sheltered.

It was Ralph Wright who scored his first club handicap win having previously won a sealed event. Wright scored by 150 metres from Andrew Thompson with Ken Walker 20 metres back in third and attributed his good recent form to consuming rice pudding on race morning.

Treasurer Sean Thompson was acclaimed for reaching his 200 run milestone.

A big thanks to the course directors and marshals who made the event such a success.
