Intersport De Grandi 8km Handicap results

May 6, 2024

Eighty-six runners ventured to the Intersport De Grandi 8 km handicap at Teesdale on Sunday. The brand new course designed by life member, Graeme Watkins, was commended by those who like trail running. The tough undulating course suited the backmarkers who filled the major placings.

Steve Curtain, who has been knocking on the door of a win, won by 140 metres from Michael Minney with Adam Ryan 35 metres back in third. Travelling down from Melbourne each Sunday, Curtain has achieved success in sealed series races before but this was his first open handicap victory.
