Pro Feet Podiatry 8km Handicap

April 29, 2024

Another pleasant Sunday morning greeted the 82 competitors who turned out for the running of the Pro Feet Podiatry 8 km handicap at Portarlington. The numbers were down slightly due to a group of club members tackling the Ballarat Marathon.

It was frontmarker, Supervet Geoff Marshall, who defied all efforts to run him down, winning convincingly from Steve Curtain and Zoran Krstevski. For Marshall who does most of his running training in the gym, it was third club win and his first since 2016. Pip Minney was easily the fastest female whilst invitation runner Cadel Cross was clearly the fastest male.
